44 days

it finally hit me in the past week or so that there are now only 44 days left until brad’s & my wedding….

44 days, people!

so i need to get busy. i made a huge list of the little “details” that i we have to get done.

our kitchen table became wedding planning central…

and then i we got busy!

some of the recent projects?

buying and painting our initials for the cake table or the candy buffet table (not sure yet).

i bought some fun swirly letters from hobby lobby and some paint in our wedding colors.

i love seeing cute little personal touches at weddings, and i thought these would be added cuteness on one of our displays! plus, i already know where i want to put them in our apartment after the wedding!

speaking of the candy buffet…

we just ordered a bunch of bulk candy and i’m heading to hobby lobby tonight to pick up one or two more glass containers for the candy (we already have some candy & containers – just need to finish it up).

i also bought our unity candle!

boring huh?

hopefully not after i’m done with it! i have supplies…

now i just need to add a little ribbon and it should be good to go! the unity candle is one of the details that i didn’t want to spend much money on. i figured buying a cheap plain candle and then using some other wedding supplies that i already have to decorate it would be pretty budget-friendly…and hopefully cute too!

i’ll let you know how that one turns out.

i stopped by office max on tuesday afternoon and got these printed.

and most exciting???

brad and i booked our mini honeymoon!

since brad is starting his new job within a couple weeks of our wedding, he really can’t take any time off for a honeymoon. so, we decided to do a romantic getaway nearby soon after our wedding, and then to take a bigger trip for our one-year anniversary!

plus, it’ll be easier on us not to have to plan a big trip and our wedding at the same time.
