restaurant review: quaker steak and lube

after apple picking last weekend, brad and i were tired & needed fuel!

i had been telling him since forever that he would love quaker steak & lube. he loves wings, and theirs are some of my favorites. i love all of their different sauces.

i also think the atmosphere of the restaurant is so much fun! there are all kinds of motorcycle and classic car stuff decorating the inside & it looks like an old gas station from the outside!

when we arrived we got drinks.

water for me and diet coke for him….with curly straws!

then we ordered.

brad had an order of wings (with arizona ranch sauce) and magna fries (aka loaded fries).

and i ordered the chipotle chicken nachos.

yum.

the nachos had chicken, jalapenos, beans, pico, sour cream, and cheese.

i was right – brad liked quaker steak & lube! 🙂

(i was so excited when i saw this sign outside! we had to ask a very nice lady to take our photo!)

we went to the location in middleton, but there is one on state street now. i’ve never been to that one though!

if you like wings, i definitely recommend quaker steak & lube. they even have boneless and grilled options! and if you don’t like wings, there are plenty of other options as well. 🙂

*****

do you like eating wings?

i really like them! my mom and stepdad and their friends go out for wings every wednesday night, and i love going with them! they’re a fun treat, but so messy to eat!

that’s one of the many reasons i love my creamy buffalo chicken crisps – much less messy to eat!

  1. hubby LOVES wings. i think it’s what he misses most about being vegetarian.

  2. I love their straws! How cool! And I love hot wings – delish! This food all looks great!
