i feel the love

i owe you guys a pipes challenge update!

week 5 of the challenge is officially over and we’re into week 6 (the last week!). unfortunately, i kind of fell off the wagon in week 5. with the move and brad’s graduation and the second move, it was a little crazy and i let my pipes slide.

i’m back on track for week 6 and hope to finish out the challenge strong! i know i won’t even be close to 100 push-ups by the end, but i definitely intend to try to get as many as i can! 23 push-ups without stopping and with good form is my goal. let’s see if i can do it!

also, i have to tell you, i am loving being a little suzy home-maker over here! 🙂 brad and i have almost everything settled into a place, at least for the moment. i have a feeling some things, especially in the kitchen, will be moved around a bit until it’s in the best functional spot possible.

tonight, we made mama pea’s black bean burgers! i’ve made these before, but brad hasn’t tried them yet. he liked them!

eaten my favorite way – as a salad! with green peppers, tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, shredded cheddar, and the burger on top with ketchup and mustard. perfection.

i also had a fun surprise waiting for me when i got home….. (no, i don’t mean brad being here – although it was amazing to come home to him!)

*sorry, i forgot to white-balance the photo before i took it. note to self: don’t forget anymore.

i won a facebook giveaway from love grown food about a week ago! now i get to try the 4 granola flavors i haven’t had the chance to try yet – i can’t wait for the cocoa goodness!

p.s. madisonians, please go to whole foods and request that they carry love grown foods granola – i promise you won’t regret it if they do!

the rest of my night was spent finding homes for a couple more of brad’s things, giving him more of my dresser and closet space (he seriously is using more space than me!), walking capone, making dinner for tomorrow because i’ll be getting home late. all of that while enjoying this drink that my love made me!

a little vodka, sprite, and pom. ahhhh….

now we’re multi-tasking. watching the brewers while brad folds laundry and i blog!

i can live with this.

who’s your baseball team?

brewers for me! duh.
