today’s what i ate wednesday is going to be a little different here at sarah learns! i’ve got a lot of food photos stored up since i’ve been a little apartment obsessed lately! so i’ll show you what i’ve been eating for a lot of the last week…
most of these meals have been repeated quite a bit over the last week because i haven’t stocked the fridge yet! i’m down to a little milk, a brita water pitcher, and lots of condiments. that is literally all.
first, before the move, i made a trip to target for cleaning supplies and also got some string cheese!
lots of snacking on those babies lately…
i also stopped at metcalfe’s and got some deli salads!
i ate these for 2 meals and one snack last week!
brad’s mom brought this cheesy cauliflower soup on moving day.
you can find the recipe here!
i also mixed up a little stir fry the other night!
it had a bag of harvest hodpodge frozen veggies from trader joe’s, some soyaki sauce (also from tj’s), brown rice, and a lean turkey kielbasa that my mom brought for me! at first i was a little nervous about the soyaki + the kielbasa combination, but they actually worked pretty well. both are kind of garlic-y, so that helped! the stir fry has made many repeat appearances this week!
another thing that made repeat appearances are these mini ham and egg sandwiches!
brad’s mom got some rolls and ham on moving day to eat too. i got to keep the leftovers to i’ve been adding eggs and ketchup and having tasty sandwiches!
open-faced too (with the last roll!).
and with wine! my first dinner in the new apartment!
and finally, my favorite thing that i’ve had all week:
brad’s grandma sent some chocolate chip cookies on moving day…. they’re gone now. so freaking good!
and that’s all i’ve got for ya! i hope you guys enjoyed this random what i ate wednesday! 🙂
i’ll “see” you tomorrow from st. louis! i can’t wait!
i also wanted to let you know that i’ll still be posting while i’m in st. louis, but i probably won’t be answering comments or keeping up with other blogs while i’m down there. i’ll miss you all!!!
which of my random meals looks the tastiest?
what should i make first after we stock our fridge?
