ripped apart

hey everyone! thanks for your comments on our new apartment! i am in love. πŸ™‚

i did discover last night that there must be a small child living above us. i heard the pitter patter of running feet a couple times. hopefully there’s no late night/early morning running going on…!

it’s time for another update on the pipes challenge!

i have officially completed week 4 of the one hundred pushups program! week 4 was brutal though. i’m sure it didn’t help that i was carrying heaving things up and down stairs for 2 days straight at the end of it!

i completed all of my sets, but i had to drop down to modified pushups for many of the later sets on day 2 and 3 of this week. i’m hoping after 2 days of rest, my shoulders will be ready to tackle week 5 without modifications!

this week, i’m planning to do my pushups on tuesday, thursday, and saturday again. hopefully moving brad out of his house doesn’t tire out my arms again!

stay tuned for a delicious recipe tomorrow! here’s a hint…

*p.s. see that bowl?!? brad’s mom gave us our first couple place settings of fiestaware as a house-warming present! πŸ™‚

i spent the afternoon cleaning my old apartment, and i’m pooped! my plan for the evening is to read a little and watch a movie!

what’s the best movie you’ve seen recently?

i just saw the king’s speech with brad a couple weekends ago. i loved it!

Yikes at the upstairs toddler. I have adult upstairs neighbors which is no fun either. Ugh. They’re like elephants!!
Way to go with the pushups!

i’ve never lived in a first-floor apartment. this definitely makes me feel bad for stomping around like i’m sure i did when i was in the upstairs. geez – you can hear everything!

  5. Oh no…I hope there’s no toddler…hopefully it was a one-time visitor πŸ™‚ In the last apartment I lived in, I could have sworn that someone was dribbling a basketball inside!
As far as movies go… I re-watched Planes, Trains, and Automobiles recently- it’s great!

    • Sarah says:

      gah, i know. i haven’t heard too much, so at least hopefully it’s a well-behaved toddler! πŸ™‚

i’ve never seen planes, trains, and automobiles!
