loyal to my brand – and a giveaway!

i’ve been wanting to talk about my favorite skin care brand on the blog for a while, but i kept forgetting as i sat down to write my posts. today is finally the day!

up until about 2 years ago, i didn’t have a go-to skin care product or brand. i usually picked up whatever face wash and moisturizer were cheapest at target or walgreens and went with it. my skin was never terrible, but it was never good either. i wore a lot of concealer and NEVER went in public without wearing makeup. i was hoping that as i got older, my skin would settle down and the breakouts would stop, but they didn’t. 😦 i still didn’t change my routine, though.

that is, until i attended an arbonne party that my friend erin invited me to. i tried the products, and liked them. but didn’t order anything that day. instead, i took home a sample pack and agreed to host a party a couple weeks later.

at my party, i was talked into ordering the anti-aging skin care line. i liked the sample that i tried and i figured that since my cheap-o products hadn’t been working for me, what would be the harm in trying these better products. well, my products arrived and i have never looked back! 🙂 my skin is much healthier than it every was and i only very rarely get pimples anymore *knock on wood*!

these products are high quality, contain no animal products or byproducts, and are free of many ingredients that you often find in skin care products that aren’t so good for you (paba, mineral oil). yes, they are a bit pricey. but, i think they are so worth it. i am on seriously, the tightest budget ever, and i make it work for these products and i signed up as a preferred client so i get a 35% discount on all of my orders.
